Informix Driver/IIS 4.0 conflicts

Greetings, I have an NT Server machine that I am trying to get IIS 4.0 and the I-Connect (2.8) Informix drivers to work on for my company's intranet, to view database statistics generated through an ASP front end. However, when I try installing the I-Connect drivers, it conflicts with the MSDTC service on the machine. The dll that conflicts is called "ociw32.dll", and is placed in the /winnt/system32 directory when the I-Connect driver installation program runs. I change the MSDTC service to startup manually, rather than automatically, because it seems that the machine does not need the service for anything that it runs. However, I also get errors after installation with any ASP page. When running an ASP page through the intranet (on the server that is running IIS) I get the following message: "The OS cannot run %1". 1) What does the MSDTC service do, and is it related at all to this ASP error message? 2) Is it possible that the Informix install overwrote a DLL used by IIS? Thanks for any help you can provide, Sincerely, Thomas Drapeau
