Informix ODBC connection time speedup

Are there any tips or tricks for speeding up the SQLConnect call. Using Informix ODBC 3.30 driver (or Intersolv 3.10/11) and IDS 7.30TC9 on NT 4.0 it is taking approximately 20 seconds to complete this call. I'm currently not passing any options and using NT login authentification. TIA Tim Gilbert

No tips or tricks to offer, but there is something wrong. With a similar setup (Informix ODBC 3.3, IDS7.31 on NT4), SQLConnect returns in around a second (on a 100Mbps LAN).
