Object Domain has a powerful scripting language : TCL from within the TCL script you have access to the whole metamodel of "Object Domain". You can not only read information from the diagrams but you can also modify and add data to the model. Each Object in Object Domain can have user "properties". These are name/value pairs you can attach to the objects in the model and allow you to "customize/extend" the model.(As all other objects in Object Domain, these properties can be changed/added from within the TCL scripts) TCL can load DLL files which means you can also extend the scripts with custom code written in any language which can create a DLL. Object Domain uses the standard distribution of TCL so you can even modify base TCL distribution to add you own commands/code to TCL You can find more information on Object Domain on: http://www.he.net/~dirkv/domain.html A demo version is available from that page as well. Object Domain's license fee is only $99.00 but has functionality of tools costing 20x more. Dirk Vermeersch (One of the authors of Object Domain).
