Connect to Informix 7.2

Hello! I'm attempting to connect to an Informix 7.2 backend. I loaded the INET stuff but my profile generates a -25567 error which translates to: -Internal communications buffer management error detected. -Memory corruption or incorrect use of buffer-management routines usually causes this -error. Check that no memory corruption problem exists in the current process space. Informix is on a Sun box. I am on NT. I can ping the sun & telnet to it... Anyone ever run into this ?
