No symbol table found

We upgraded from 7.31.FD2XE to 9.30.FC4XG (patched for LIGHT SCAN bug) via 9.30.FC4X1 (provided with SAP 4.7). The OS is HPUX 11.0 64-bit. The upgrade seemed to go OK and no apparent problems with the database. However, I am getting the following entry in the online log. No dumps are occurring. My question is: what does this mean? 14:02:31 Informix Dynamic Server Started. 14:02:41 No symbol table found for oninit. 14:02:41 Assertion failure information (if any) may be incomplete.
