Well I use a couple of scripts to do it. Here's an example of a form with the sccs info included: {%W% %Y% %H% %T%} database tudor screen size 17 { \\g-----------------------\\g CORE LABELS \\g--\\g Sales order no [a ] Spec no [b ] Batch No [e ] Quantity/reel [c ] No of labels required [d ] \\g--------------------------------------\\g } end tables salesitems end attributes a = salesitems.sona; b = salesitems.spart, upshift; c = formonly.qpr type smallint; d = formonly.nol type smallint; e = formonly.ttbnum type smallint; end I get the sccs details into the .per (.ace .4gl etc) files with the following script: #!/bin/sh # Idline # Put a sccs line at the top of the named file IDENT="%W% %Y% %H% %T%" for F in $* do case $F in *.c | *.h | *.efm) id="/* $IDENT */" ;; *.4gl | *.per | *.ace) id="{$IDENT}" ;; *) id="# $IDENT" ;; esac ed - $F <<Z 0a $id w q Z done Finally I turn the file into a sccs file using: #!/bin/sh # Create new sccs archive using default parameters # set -x for F in $* do MODNAME=`basename \\`pwd\\`` case $F in *.4gl) TYPE="Informix RDS Source File";; *.per) TYPE="Informix Screen Source File";; *.ace) TYPE="Informix Report Source File";; *) TYPE="Unspecified File Type";; esac admin -i$F -fi -fm"$MODNAME" -ft"$TYPE" s.$F && rm $F done Hope this is what you were after. | I'd try and think up a witty .sig but who'd read it? | |------------------------------------------------------------| | Stuart Hemming | shemminga@cix.compulink.co.uk | | Tudor Labels Ltd | uunet!cix.compulink.co.uk!shemminga | | Roman Bank Bourne | Tel : (+44) 778 426444 | | Lincs PE10 9LQ.
