Hi 2 All, I want to install INFORMIX 9.4.0 FC8 on HP-UX 11i System. I was not able to find any documents for the installation. Could anyone please tell me the step-by-step procedure for installation of INFORMIX 9.4.0 FC8 on HP-UX 11i ? Please send any documents ( with explanation ) or URL's. Thanks in Advance. Quick steps: As informix user, 1. Create directory where you want to install the product 2. Change to the directory. 3. Set INFORMIXDIR environment variable to the directory path. 4. Extract product files from cpi archive. 5. Start the installation by running installserver and go through the prompts. As root user, 1. Invoke RUN_AS_ROOT.server script to complete installation.
