Dhaya I wouldn't touch them if I were you !! They are identifiers to running processes and touching them will cause instability/loss of data/machine crash/P45 (UK unemployment)/end of world in any random order depending on the colour of your socks. If you run df -k you will see the /proc filesystem takes up no disk space so no need to worry.
