Re: Poll threads again

I have to admit I goofed. The poll thread simply issues a poll() to determin network completions. An array of file descriptors is passed to the poll() function and completed statuses are returned for any connections that have data ready. This is a bit different with shared memory connections because the number of poll threads actually determines the number of shared memory segments to create for message buffers. Before I attempt to answer this question, I'm gonna check it out first...... Madison Pruet
