Help expression -> integer in ACE

Hopefully there is a simple answer which I'm missing. I wanna do select (mydbvalue / 10000) in ACE and get the result evaluated as an integer so I can use control breaks on it. Other than creating my own temp table outside ACE to declare an integer column for holding this value, is there another simpler workaround? ( I could use 4GL but am striving for simplest solution).
