Some salient issues for this debate:
1. onunload/onload do not support fragmented tables.
2. Why do you want to restore individual tables? If using OnBar (with
1 table
per dbspace) then be aware that:
a) you can only restore dbspaces that are 'down' (i.e. you cannot
arbitrarily
decide to restore a dbspace).
b) if you are performing a selective restore as opposed to a full
system restore,
you *must* rollforward your logs, thereby arriving back at the
situation you
were in before the decision to restore.
3. Would the High Performance Loader be an option (will need exclusive
access to the tables
being unloaded to ensure that the data is consistent).
