onunload/onload problem with different dbspace size.

When do onunload/onload a database between two machines,
do these two machine need to have same dbspace structure (number of chuncks
and size of each chunk) and dbspace size? I know the two system
need to be bin compatible and have same version of IDS. But just
not sure if the two system can have different dbspace structure
for that database.
Thanks for your help.

The theoretical answer is no.
The practical answer is that, for many releases of IDS, and due to a
"feature" (ie bug) it will be necessary to have AT LEAST a dbspace with the
same name as that of the original that contained detached indexes.
However, provided the original dbspace exist, is doesn't matter at all what
the chunk names/layout and size (provided of course there is sufficient
capacity for the loaded database) are.
