It works on a NT, Win95 and on a Win 3.1 platform, but they don't develop any more new features on the version to the Win 3.1 platform. I use the Win 3.1 version, because I am working on af OS/2 client. The Desktop DBA produkt is made to manage the SQL part of Informix. You can create tables, indexes etc. etc. What you can't do is create and/or drop of databases. (A lack in the ODBC driver from Informix). Onconfig parameters are not to be managed by Desktop DBA. That part is still managed by onmonitor. I find the produkt very usefull, but the Win 3.1 version has a some known errors, which I doubt ever will be fixed. Platinum only makes bug fixes and new features in the versions for NT and Win95. The last usefull version of Desktop DBA to Win 3.1 is 3.4.2, but the newest version is 3.4.3. I don't use this version because it has a bug, which makes it uabled to manage indexes. Bjarne Wilken Jensen /Alm. Brand Denmark
