What dbspace are these tables in. If they are all in the rootdbs then you may have temp tables ebing created there that are not dropped. If you see the message "recovering temp table space" in your online log when it comes up then this could be the problem. Basically you must be close to the space limits and these extra temp tables that have not been cleaned are taking you over the limit.
