Informix Dynamic Server 7.31 is the current core database. (IDS.2000 and the Informix Internet Foundation (IIF.2000) have just been made GA, but I don't know where you'd get your hands on a copy.) Informix Standard Engine is very old technology, but very good (scalable and robust) for people who just want a boring old database. IDS/Universal Data Option is the database that gives you extensibility. IDS/Advanced Decision/eXtended Parallel is the database that gives you clustering. Whew! >Is there any trial version so that I can dowmload and play!!!
