Those would be fragented tables with a partnum of 0. Look in sysfragments for the partnum of the fragments. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org [SMTP:owner-informix-list@iiug.org] On Behalf Of vasilis.economides@ctl.com > Sent: Wednesday, November 16, 2005 10:30 AM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Systables partnumber > > Hi, > > I have informix 9.30.TC1 on Win2000. > > The partnumber of some tables is 0. Bill Dare Said: >>Those would be fragented tables with a partnum of 0. Yep that is correct also. I don't have any fragmented tables at my current installation so I didn't think of them. doh. tabtype = "T" for fragmented tables and tabtype = "V" for views. Oh, yeah Synonyms also have a partnum of 0. They have tabtype = "S". Is there anything else well GL_COLLATE, GL_CTYPE, " VERSION" have no partnum and a space for tabtype. Very interesting, why is this and what are they exactly? I can't even select from them.
I think they indicate things about the database e.g. GL_ are GLS variables to indicate the COLLATION series for the database. Version I assume is the IDS version although I think this is only updated when a version updgrade changes the database structure.
