You need the relay module, if you want@@NL@@} to use a 5.x client application with a 7.x informix database. The relay@@NL@@} module we usually use is just called sqlrm. I do not know, if there is@@NL@@} any difference to sqlrmsoctcp. Perhaps it depends on the environment.@@NL@@}@@NL@@} HTH@@NL@@}@@NL@@@@NL@@sqlrmsoctcp is used when you use TCP/IP communications with SOCkETS@@NL@@program interface and sqlrmtlitcp is when you use the TLI(Transport@@NL@@Layer Interface).@@NL@@@@NL@@Regards,@@NL@@@@NL@@-----------------------------------------------------------------------@@NL@@Mario Estrada / SISTECO,S.A.@@NL@@INFORMIX, /Phone (502) 3318116@@NL@@Support Department /Fax (502) 3348447@@NL@@-----------------------------------------------------------------------@@NL@@The opinions expressed here, are not those of my company@@NL@@-----------------------------------------------------------------------
