OS: HP-UX 11.0.B
ERROR: 407:Error number zero received from the sqlexec process

I'm getting a 407 error whan attempting to run Update Statistics High
=66or a particular table within dbaccess. I don't get the error when
running LOW & MEDIUM statistics for the same table. According to the
Error manual summary it supposedly has something to do with the
library functions that are called (see below). Any ideas=3F

Error number zero received from the sqlexec process.=20
This internal error indicates a problem in the communication
between the database server and the library functions that call it.
Make sure that your program software is compatible with the database
engine in use. If the error recurs, note all circumstances and contact
Informix Technical Support.

For versions of 7.31 you should be on a UD not a UC version, probably UD8
now. I would expect this to fix your problem.
You can find out which table by running update statistics on each table in
turn. Then check that table with oncheck -cDI.
