Hi, I am a informix database consultant and have an arvchive problem at one of our customers. The problem is they are building several datawarehouses with informix DS 7.21. The databases are about 50 Gigabyte. This site is now in an acceptance/pilot situation. They want to order the production machine. For all the machines together they have one backup server with a lot of DLT-tape(unit)s. The server reads the filesystems and put them to tape. Because we don't have any storage manager I think we can't use this option. What is the solution and if I need a tape unit what kind can you suggest (proce/performance/capacity). The platform is an HP9000. Thanks in advance, Rob Prop
