You can do a dbschema on the table, change the name from tab1 to tab2 and
run the dbschema.
dbschema -d (database name) -t (table name) > tab2.sql
vi tab2.sql and change the "create table tab1" to "create table tab2" and
run the sql

Subject: Create Table Statement
is it possible to copy a table (300.000 rows) into another table
without the
rows
for example:
CREATE TABLE tab1
AS SELECT * from tab2
WHERE 1<0
The goal is to duplicate a tabel with all columns but without any
row
