Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi...
I hate to say this, but I'm trying to replicate a feature in Oracle
(yuck!) that is actually quite useful.
Oracle has a UPDATE ... RETURNING <field> INTO <token> optional syntax.
I'm trying to find out if in Informix IDS, if I did do UPDATE to a
SINGLE tuple, would there be some sort of indication in some internal
table just what the ROWID is that I just updated?
Note that I have to get this info in any way EXCEPT 4GL.
TIA,
Joe
