I need a file compressor/archiver that works portably under DOS/WINDOWS, and most major UNIX flavors. Files compressed/archived under WINDOWS must be decompressed/ unarchived under UNIX as well as the other way, UNIX to DOS/WINDOWS. (Blobs will ultimately be used for storage of these compressed/archived files.) I prefer source code but will consider any product/ shareware/freeware that works. Any suggestions? Scott
