We are using "Informix Dynamic Server 2000 Version 9.21.UC1" running on SunOS 5.9. And we set the char set to UTF-8. But we can't search "'" char when we enter it into varchar or lvarchar columns. And if we use LOWER or UPPER function to search case insensitive char, it will throw "String processing failed at UPPER...." Any idea? Is it a bug in this version of Informix?
