I'm sorry, but after having dealt with Windoze crap for far too long, I must respond. Stating that Windoze will make everyone happier is a patent phrase that is summarily incorrect. It can be successfully argued in many ways that Windoze is still a poor choice for many people. And one wouldn't even have to bring in the Mac into the equation (with which user's have been tested and shown to have far greater productivity). The Unix character versions of Informix (their largest market) have thrived well, and proved that Windoze doesn't necessarily bring anything helpful to the user. Maybe Informix DOS is not the answer. Maybe DOS itself is on it's last leg. Windoze DEFINITELY does not make life easier for many. If there's interest, I'll post my top ten pet peeves that have caused me to lose dozens of hours of productivity in the past month or two.
