(I've never understood why this should be so, incidentally). Also, a number of other configuration parameters, such as ROOTPATH, ROOTSIZE etc must be identical to the values at the archive time, so your changing of ROOTPATH will certainly screw things up. Obviously, in order to do that validation, the parameters must be held on the archive header. Try to work out what has changed in your $TBCONFIG file since the archive, restore the old value, and it should go OK.
