Informix-SE v7.x Transaction Logging

I understand how Informix On-Line transaction logging works (logical logs, checkpoints, archiving etc), but how does Informix-SE transaction logging work ? Once transaction logging has been setup for an SE database, the log file grows as time progresses. How or when does the log file get flushed out and started afresh ? Thanks in advance Tony
