Problem with the NewEra ixSQLConnect under HPUX 10.10

We are running NewEra 1.01 in a HPUX 10.10 environment. We are experiencing problems with the connect method of ixSQLConnect when attempting to connect to ONLINE 5.x and ONLINE 7.x engines. We want to be able to specify a generic userid and password to connect to the engine. All users will connect with this same userid/password, which will be granted the appropriate access rights at the engine level. When specifying the userid & password in the connect string, NewEra appears to ignore the specified values, and uses the logged on ID for access verification. eg. User is logged on as "USER1". "USER1" has no rights to the database "GenericID" has connect rights to database The connect statement looks like: LET objConn = NEW ixSQLConnect() CALL objConn.connect(sourceName : "db@test", UserID : "GenericID", authorization: "freckle") When this chunk of code is executed by USER1, an error is returned, indicating that "USER1" does not have permissions to the database. As soon as "USER1" is granted connect rights, the code executes OK. I have successfully used this technique when running NewEra 2.x & 3.0 under Windows 3.x & NT4.0 environments Does anyone know how to force NewEra to honour the specified authentication details under UNIX? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
