Please read the README file. Then reread it. Then read it again. It says quite explicitly in there that the IUS-only data types are not supported by DBD::Informix, because I have not had the time to put the support in place. I'm very willing to accept what anybody offers as a reasonable solution -- preferably in the form of a patch file. I'm very curious to know what you did that limits your support to just 3 LVARCHAR columns; I'd even accept that as a partial solution, though I'd never release DBD::Informix with a caveat of only supporting 3 of any given type of column. LVARCHAR should not be as bad as byte/text blob support; it might be a basis from which to start (or it might not be a good basis for LVARCHAR support). -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
