Nice try, but I don't think you're going to get away with it! :-) You
will definitely need to add at least COMMIT WORK and ROLLBACK WORK to
your code - then you can cheat with MODE ANSI, but frankly I'd rather
go the whole hog and put in the BEGIN WORKs as well - then at least
you can use buffered logging if you need to...
