OLEDB and Informix

Hi ! I use VB 6.0. I wrote application using Informix SDK 2.30 and Informix O LEDB Provider. Apllication worked good, but unfortunatlly after installing I nformix SDK 2.50, with new version of MDAC and Informix OLEDB, VB "told" me, that it is not correct OLEDB provider. I tried this installation on Windows 95 and Windows 2000. I don't know, what shall I change in my installation. I f someone use this version of SDK, please, let me know. Przemek

I have exactly that same problem. Unfortunately a post (three weeks ago) yielded no follow ups..... I ran into the same problem. The Informix I am trying to link to is version 7.24. I had to go to informix's page and download their 2.4 version and it connected fine. I think the whole deal is early versions of Informix are not OLE DB compliant and the 2.5 is OLE DB. The 2.4 version is still ODBC so it works fine.
