Informix on NT - IECC cannot connect to database

Hi, I've just installed an informix database (7.3) on a windows NT 4.0 workstation. The connection with SQL Editor and dbaccess is working fine but the IECC console starts with the message "Server discovery failed". The connection with our development tool Centura doesn't work, too. Can anybody out there please help me?! Thanks in advance.
