Re: ESQL/C, sqlda, and datetime columns

Well, it looks like most of my original post got munched. Here is a re-try at posting the question: I`m writing an interface tool using ESQL/C and I'm running into a problem when fetching datetime data. I've basically started with the 'unload.ec' example provided by Informix, and expanded it to include all data types. It seems to be working fine for most data types, but whenever I include a datetime column in a fetch, the fetch returns a null for the datetime data. I've tried initializing the dt_qual field, before executing the fetch,to the value set in sqlda->sqllen, and also to 'TU_DTENCODE(TU_YEAR,TU_MINUTE)', which matches the column definition in the database. Is there some other initialization I need to be doing before the fetch? Thanks in advance for any help.
