Informix/ESQLC 7.1....Error 25574 ..Help ???

I am trying to establish a client-server environment.. using ESQLC 7.1..which is the client running on a SUN SPARC 5 with solaris 2.4 as the operating system. The server is a DEC5900 ultrix operating system which runs Informix Online 5.0.. I am trying to establish a connection using tcp...but informix suggested to use tli implementation on Sun Sparc..
