Ellen suggested I send this out for a grin. Basically we had experienced some problems on one of our many engines and found this in the logfile. I sent this to Ellen to let her know a) what was going on b) it was the only logical explanation for what was occuring. } One day (7/3/93) Mr. Engine woke up and said, "My what a fine day it is today. } What shall I do on such a fine day, I know! I'll run up and down the } stairs outside of the building." } } Having thus decided Mr. Engine immediately acted upon this notion, but } discovered that he had no legs and therefore could not. } } "Well that was an exercise in futility, What shall we do now to keep } our adrenaline flowing? I know! At 9:00 am I'll start checking my points } every three seconds from here until eternity!" } } And that is what he did. } } ...... } 08:27:14 Checkpoint Completed } 08:32:33 Checkpoint Completed } 08:37:52 Checkpoint Completed } 08:43:12 Checkpoint Completed } 08:48:32 Checkpoint Completed } 08:53:52 Checkpoint Completed } 08:59:13 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:10 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:13 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:16 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:19 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:22 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:28 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:31 Checkpoint Completed } 09:00:35 Checkpoint Completed } ...... } } grace au Mike (i.e. he found it (not caused it)) } } cheers } j. } As an aside, we found it last night.
