Re: Can't drop table - "Prepare statement failed or was not executed"
Posted in 1998
Hi,
Here are my SQL scripts to create those few tables that I can't
drop/insert. Could it be something to do with my foreign key defination
in the REFERENCE clause in "sia_article" table?
CREATE TABLE sia_category (
categoryID SERIAL PRIMARY KEY,
category VARCHAR(20) NOT NULL,
order SMALLINT
);
CREATE TABLE sia_article (
articleID SERIAL PRIMARY KEY,
categoryID INT NOT NULL REFERENCES sia_category(categoryID),
title VARCHAR(100),
description VARCHAR(255),
header VARCHAR(255),
body LVARCHAR,
hidden BOOLEAN DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
date_created DATE DEFAULT TODAY NOT NULL,
date_modified DATE,
image1_path VARCHAR(100),
image1_alttext VARCHAR(100),
image1_caption VARCHAR(255),
image1_width SMALLINT,
image1_height SMALLINT,
image2_path VARCHAR(100),
image2_alttext VARCHAR(100),
image2_caption VARCHAR(255),
image2_width SMALLINT,
image2_height SMALLINT
);
Thanks, tata.
