It would be great if someone could point me in that direction as well. I posted a message a week or so ago, and didn't get a response :( I am trying to get Informix 7.22 to work with Netscape 3.51/LiveWire on Solaris 2.6 and am getting error -406. Informix works fine on it's own, but when you try to access it from LiveWire you get the error... agh. I was thinking it had something to do with $INFORMIXDIR/msg files, but that doesn't seem to be the case. At any rate, it there are any resources on the web, I would love to see them! -Andrew
I've had similar errors when installing on AIX. You didn't mention if you had copied all the environment variables to your Netscape "start" script. (I know basic - but I had to ask). On AIX you need to run two additional commands to have the "dbadmin" program work correctly (something to do with string tables). I've also installed and have WEB sites running LiveWire on SGI's IRIX and Windows NT. Can you elaborate on the secondary error code associated with -406. It doesn't sound like an Informix error -406 (Memory Allocation Failed). I think there was something in the release notes about Solaris ...
