The following will tell you how much space is allocated to the database - oncheck -pt <database> |awk '{if ($4=="allocated") {sum+=$5}} END {print sum*2}' whilst this gives actually used - oncheck -pt <database> |awk '{if ($4=="used") {sum+=$5}} END {print sum*2}' There may be one or two 'gotchas', but it's fairly reliable. -- Phil@oninit.com
