Hi. I am trying to simply unload a IDS 9.4 table with onunload. I am getting
an error "Error positioning within TBLspace"
It's an aix 5.2 machine
The name of the database is sdm1prd
the table I want to unload is called st_remarks
the owner of the table is informix
I execute....
onunload -b 16 -s 15360000 -t /sdmbkup_trk/archive sdm1prd:informix.sr_remarks
Does anyone know what is wrong here?
Maybe you have a corrupted table. Try running 'oncheck -cID' to fix the error.
Regards

I get the same error with every table. Does anyone have a real life example of
an onunload command to load a single table?
Hi,
I have a database called "database1" and a table in the database called
"table1", I would use this command as the user 'informix' on my HPUX system:
# onunload -t /tmp/table1.dat database1:informix.table1
This assumes that /tmp has enough available disk space to unload the table
as a binary file.
I hope that is what you were looking for.
