There is one relevant restriction and one semi-relevant restriction:
(1) The 4GL compilers (p-code and c-code) do not understand any SQL syntax
not supported by 4.1x ESQL/C. That applies to 5.0x and 6.0x (and 7.0x)
SQL syntax. Specifically, it does not understand PRIMARY KEY -- that
is a 5.0x feature. This is bug B32601 -- not fixed and not yet
scheduled to be fixed.
(2) You cannot declare PRIMARY KEY constraints with names on temporary
tables (error -576). You also cannot declare triggers or referential
constraints (error -548). This is only semi-relevant since you do not
name your primary key constraint. Even if you got past the 4GL
compiler, the Engine would rebuke you if the statement tried to name
the primary key.
