Multiple connections with Intersolv ODBC for Informix / AIX

Hy, I'm having a big problem: We are developing an database application with C++ / Intersolv ODBC under AIX for Infromix. I need to have two independent database connections within one programm. In the Intersolv manual, they say that the ODBC - driver for Informix 7 allows that. But if I try to do an second (parallel) connect I get the message: SQLSTATE =S1000 MSG = [INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix driver][Informix]Connection name in use. Could somebody help me?
