FORMS error 1141

Hello Informixers, since I recompiled and deployed a long unchanged 4GL application from I4GL 4.10 to 4.11, the users keep getting the following error at random intervals (translated from German, I don't have the original English message files): FORMS statement errornumber -1141. The window cannot be closed while INPUT, DISPLAY ARRAY or MENU is active The line number points to an "END MENU" statement, but that doesn't help much. The users report that in the middle of their work (while they are in an INPUT ARRAY) the program suddenly bombs. Since they have been working with that program since 1990, I don't think it is something they are doing wrong, and that error NEVER occured before the upgrade from 4.10 to 4.11. I've not been able to reproduce this error myself, it happens about once a day in different modules of the application. One possible explanation could be that I presently have a mixed 4.10/4.11 runtime environment. On the target machine, there is 4GL 4.10 runtime installed, but the development machine was changed and I only have 4.11 development available. So I simply copied the shared libraries over to the target machine. That seems to work since the names are different: libxxx.1 for 4.10 and libxxx.2 for 4.11. "ldd" reports that the correct versions are linked. We don't have the manpower to recompile all 4GL applications at once, so we'll have that mixture for some time. Platform is Siemens-Nixdorf RM400-330 under Reliant UNIX 5.43C20. Back- end is Online 5.10.UC1. I do know that 4GL 4.11 is almost as ancient as 4.10, but I don't have any newer 4.x version available. Is this a known issue in 4GL 4.11? Will an update to 7.20 help? We are considering that update anyway for other reasons, but we don't have the manpower to update frontends and backends to 7.20 and 7.30 at the same time.
