On the other hand, a LOT, if not most, positions these days are filled via headhunters; pity the poor headhunter who can't handle email. Over the last couple of years, I've dealt with a lot of headhunters... haven't met one with a "hardcopy" resume requirement. Haven't talked to many companies that expected all of the garbage that used to be common re: formatting. I've looked at a lot of resumes over the last 12 years that have come via fax or email. Neither I or any of my colleagues expected great-looking resumes, we were concerned with the content and the person. This position was a technical one, technology ought to be a part of filling it.
