Hi, Iam getting this error when I do ontape -s -L 0 :- Archive failed - Error changing logging status - iserrno 107. Pls advice

Another user request has locked the record that you requested or the file (table) that contains it. This condition is normally transient. A program can recover by rolling back the current transaction, waiting a short time, and re-executing the operation. For interactive SQL, redo the operation. Basically, a database had been registered for a logging status change by someone running ondblog. When the ontape attempted to change the database's logging status after the archive was complete it found that it could not get an exclusive lock on the database. Most likely that's because someone was connected to that database. Art S. Kagel
