Re: Setting up ISM

I am using NT and I got a similar problem. In my case, I was using the GUI tool and the pool name ISMDiskData and some of the other ones were showing up in the Pool drop-down list. I tried it via the command line as you are trying to do and got the same error. We have it on a couple of machines here and they showed up on our other one so I figured I had installed it incorrectly and I re-installed the administrative tool again and they appeared. I can only assume that during my installation the pool names didn't get populated to some lookup table. Note that the one that they showed up on was an upgrade from 7.23 and the one that didn't have them was a brand-spanking new install, go figure. You may want to contact informix to see if they can give you an easier workaround than re-installing the thing, like maybe what sys-type table holds that info and you just insert the proper records. good luck! alicia -----Original Message----- From: Yates Herbert CV USAT EXC <herbert.yates@cibavision.Novartis.com> To: 'informix-list@iiug.org' <informix-list@iiug.org> Date: Friday, August 07, 1998 3:42 PM Subject: Setting up ISM >I am using Informix 7.30.uc2 with HP-UX 10.20.
