Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Does SPL or 4GL have a way to return the numeric ASCII value of a character?
eg. The space character is ascii value 32.

Assuming a vaguely recent version of I4GL, the ORD(' ') function
would return 32 for the space argument. It returns the ascii
value of the first letter of its argument string -- or the value
converted to an argument string.

Sorry folks, guess who wasn't awake this morning!
Try the FGL_LASTKEY("a") function, this will return 97 for a lower case a,
65 for upper case A,
Sorry for the confusion earlier.
