HELP Informix Se 7.2 on Hp-ux

Hi, i am having a few problems with a a copy of this which has been installed remotely in another country. baically when I try and connect to the server using dbaccess I find that it asks for a user id and password and falls over with a 908 error if I don't supple one. How are users set up under 7.2 se - I thought this was taklen care of by unix but I know I must be wrong.... any help gratefully receievd. cheers Michael
