Create Table, Default DB Space

Is there a way in version 7.* to change the default dbspace where tables are created when "in dbspace" is not specified? We bought an application that likes to create "work" tables that multiple threads can get to, so they don't create them as temp tables. I have two problems with this: 1) The tables are logged! And they can get quite large. 2) The location of these tables end up being the root dbspace. This package is "database independent" so they can't use Informix extensions. I don't think I can do much about 1 above. How about 2? Jerry Van Zant
