Informix & DNS...HELP!!!

I am trying to install DNS in my network. Informix is on the same box that the named runs on. When ever I put the /etc/resolv.conf file in place, the Informix engine quit recoginzes the server it self saying something like "Server does not trust oe@j1.server.domain". I edited the /etc/sqlhosts file to include the domain name in the hostname field and add an alias to the /etc/hosts file with the correct domain. None of this worked...Can someone help me out here?
