HPL Conversion Func use DBXget...

I have written a shared library with a number of conversion functions in it. I need to write a new one that uses the API DBXget_source_value so that I can get values from the other columns of the record being imported. However, this function is in the shared library that I am replacing. How do I link in this library (or another) so that I can get access to these APIs and provide my own? I've tried to link in the ipldd09a.so shared library that I am replaceing however, this still gives me an unknown symbol error for the routine the API routine that I want to use. I have built a make file that links with the following command: cc -o ipldd09a.so plcstdrv.o plcstcnv.o scriptscnv.o ipldd09a.o -bE:ipldd09a.exp -b M:SRE -bnoentry -bloadmap:ipldd09a.map and because I haven't found an .h file for these APIs, i created my own prototype for the function. extern void DBXget_source_value(char* pFldName, char* pBuffer, int buflen); Has anyone delt with this before?
