After you have created the Informix instance on NT and create appropriate dbspaces etc, dbexport the database on Sun, copy the files to NT or make them available via NFS from the Sun, and dbimport the database back into the NT instance. Life would be easier if Solaris and NT could share a tape format so you could dbexport to tape and dbimport from there but that's not likely. Art S. Kagel
